A nifty program to hide your desktop icons

  • How much’ll it set me back?  
    Nothing (but you can give the guy a donation if you want to)
  • Will it make my head hurt? 
    No, it’s not too terribly difficult to install or set up, although there’re a lot of settings you won’t understand and’ll never use.
  • Does it work? 
    Works fine on XP; mostly works on Vista
  • Is it ever updated? 
    Not since early 2007 apparently

I’ve been using this program for years and years, and I still think it’s cool.  If you’re the artistic sort, and enough of a computer geek to know that you can actually change your desktop background (yes!  I’m serious!), you might like Iconoid.
