Easy as 1 - 2 - 1

No, not just the AMOUNT on the check….ok, here’s a logic problem for you. You know those checks you get where there are tabs on the ends to tear off to get to the creamy check center? Well that’s the kind of check I get.
If you got one of these checks, and there were three tabs, and you looked at one and it said 1 in a big circle (twice) and then you looked at another and it said 2 in a big circle (twice)…wouldn’t you think that you were supposed to rip off the tab marked 1, and then rip off the tab marked 2, and so on?
Well sorry friend–you’d be wrong. You see, when you get to the third tab…it’s numbered 1 in a big circle. Wait…what??? I DIDN’T KNOW STEP 1 WAS A TWO-PARTER! HOW WAS I SPOSED TO KNOW THAT!!! I feel like I need to explain to someone that it’s not my fault.
