Movie Review
Okay, stay away from this one at all costs. First of all, there’s the name. Second of all, it’s a chick flick. But most important of all, Penelope Cruz.
“What do you mean?” you say. “Penelope Cruz is very attractive. And what an actress.” Okay, whatever. But when Hollywood decides that their actresses are no longer required to shave under their arms, that’s when I stop going to movies. I don’t care if it’s “European.” I don’t care if the “part calls for it.” Spend a little of the budget on some Shick.
Like I’m really gonna be watching a movie set in Europe and see a girl and she stretches and raises her arms; and suddenly I’ll be pulled out of the movie, going, “That is so unrealistic. A girl in Europe at that point in history would definitely not have shaved there. Is it so hard to get these things right? I’m outta here.”
Yeah, that’s going to happen.
PS. I haven’t seen this movie, I just heard about this. But I know enough about it to review it. You are welcome.
